edit: Increasing object visibility as much as possible...

Post by edge123455 »

Hey guys need help in increasing the visibility range of my star destroyers for the 'Battle Above Endor' map that i'm working on. It is going to be a very large map with aboaut 14 star destroyers (without cps and landing, just the destroyer itself) and the the star destroyers are seperated by large distances like in the movie.

I've already messed around with the far and near scene propeties of the sky file for about 2days already. I have found out that the 'far scene' is for terrian rendering distance and texture visibility range .

And the last value of the near scene is for rendering objects exluding units and vehicles. I set it up to the highest setting possible and it does give me a long visibility object range in game.

But I need a way to make these star destroyes more visible at farther distances. Is there a way I can do this? A msh option or an LAU code or something I can do?

Look in the Polis Massa sky file; there's a parameter literally called VisibilityRange or something like that.

Yeah i've tried that too, but it doesn't seem to work. I think it affects the visibility range on the ZeroEditor.
