You have to remember that like countries, states and provinces have their own local inflation. 80 dollars could be worth a lot less there than where each of us lives. Personally, I won't spend more than 50 dollars on a game. Its absurd. Over half a hundred for a time measured in hours of entertainment?

Well, in my opinion, a game is worth it if you spend at least 50 hours playing. I think 1 hour of entertainment is definatly worth 1 dollar. I mean, you go to the movies for 6.50$ for 2-3 hours

Yeah but theres a fine line. Other factors have to be thrown in too, but putting those aside (including them would further my point but I dont have the time - its 10:41, im tired, and am getting up a 5:00 to go surfing tomorrow. ahh tireddddd), is 224 hours of gaming worth 224 dollars? Of course not. Games are games, and just that. They provide nothing (at least intentionally, for example my brother and I have a more vast knowledge of guns from css, and my brother can name the type/brand of almost any car just from playing the need for speed games) more than entertainment.

But somehow this is totally way off topic.
