If your still having trouble Psi_487, then here is what helped me download BFX 2.1:
If you are using winRAR, (http://www.download.com/WinRAR/3000-225 ... 07677.html), then it might show up as phoenix 1.8.4. in the following directories below.

NOT THE ONE BEFORE OR AFTER. Move the files to from one My Computer program to the 2nd My Computer like this:

Just delete the phoenix 1.8.4 file after you do this. Delete the Phoenix file after you move the files to the correct directory. DO NOT HIT BACK OR YOU WILL GET AN ERROR; (It's not fatal, it's just annoying), INSTEAD HIT UP, WHICH IS NEXT TO FORWARD. Do the same for the next two.


Next file(s):

Delete the Phoenix 1.8.4 file.



Last file:

Delete the phoenix 1.8.4 file.

Download the 1.2 Unofficial patch for SWBF2. Then, download BFX 2.1! YOUR ALL DONE! (FINALLY!) GO PLAY BATTLEFRONT EXTREME AND TURN SOME DROIDS INTO SHRAPNEL! (NOT INTERNET COMPATABLE).

******BFX only works on CW not GCW******

If anyone could help me install battlefront extreme v2.1 i would very gratefull. I have looked all over the web trying to find solutions but what I really need is for someone to explain to me how to install it for beggining to end. I am going to uninstalll everything. So if anyone could tell me how to install the Battlefront 2.1 extreme mod completely i would be very thankful.

This is how to do it from a fresh install...

1.Install BFII
2.Install OFFICIAL 1.1 patch
3.Install conversion pack v1.9
4.Patched pheonix 1.8.4
5. BFX 2.1
6. UNNOFICIAL 2.2 Patch.

That's it!

I have a doubt: is what to install the mods in some order or does not that matter? I read in several posts the order and each one says that you should sew one differently :?

and i still have the error in bfx 2.1 , i tried found the Phoenix 1.8.4 Patch but without lucky :cry:

Yes you have to install them in the order I have tried different ways and this is the only one that works it is also the order on the first post by arc_commander. Here is the pheonix patch thingy. http://files.filefront.com/Phoenix+184r ... einfo.html

the winRAR says "can't open the file because it's damaged or the file is unknow :shock:

I think filefront is the only place with the files. Soooo I don't know.

Hey, Arc Commander, will the final version of BFX be a stand-alone mod and CPX be the mod that goes with the converson pack? Or will the final be like 2.1?

It will require Unofficial 1.3 Patch. The expansion pack will require Conversion Pack, though.

Here's how the expansion is gonna work:

- 2 extra legions - 91st, 7th
- Bossk, Desann, Kit Fisto - all with Conversion Pack models
- BFX on all Conversion Pack maps

Will probably weigh in at about 15MB to download. The reason I'm offering it separately is because of the weird FATAL error problem that stops me from adding more than 108 lines to mission.req.

I promise that's at least four times what you seem to have a problem with.

Not that I think having a separate addon is a bad idea, although you may just want to pack it with the original mod; 15 mb is nothing in comparison to the total filesize anyway.

Is there any way I can go on the other maps like alderaan, ones not included with the game and why won't hero assult work. Oh by the way, thank you so much arc for creating a brilliant mod and thank you even more to jawajusice who helped me install it. Anyway if anyone knows how I ca do hero assult and go on other maps please tell. When I go on other maps, it loads but when you choose you class and spawn it won't let you and the backgrond is black.

i like the apprentice very much arc' (i like all new heros)
you could try to give him yodas idle_emote
that would make him more tfu-looking

Can't mix Yoda's idle_emote with the human skeleton animations, it'll either float or sink, can't remember which offhand (Yoda has a slightly different skeleton).

Isn't Yoda's idle animation nearly the same as the one Luke uses, Just scaled down?

The maps that came with the conversion pack currently don't support BFX yet, and Hero Assault doesn't work at all. If some regular shipped BF2 maps don't work try putting the lighting quality to medium or low.
