Animation Problem

Post by Delta-1035 »

So, after a lot of work, I figured out that my mod tools doesn't munge the anims.
If I add a new animation to one of my units, it doesn't show in-game.
Even the stock anims are not munged by my modtools, for example after munging the stock rep side, the clone commander didn't have his own animation when use rally and also the jedis appear like that:
Hidden/Spoiler:
(game crashes if i spawn like him)

The only units that works are the ones with "normal" animations (clones, imperials and rebels).

Oh, yeah, I have windows7.

Anyone know a way to get my modtools to work properly?

Try phazon_elite's fix for animation set munging in Vista and see if it helps, it probably works with Windows 7 also.

No, that didn't helped.
What i mean btw is that my game dosent munge the animations, i mean the clonecommander.anims (etc..) that are munged anims but when i munge the side in my game it dont work (the clone commander use rally with the grenade animations) and if i try to munge a new cis side it crashes because the modtools seem to not munge the anims (see the jedi pic on frist post), that's my problem.

EDIT
I know it's not right and I hate doing this but..can't anyone help me really? :(

Animation Problem

Post by Delta-1035 »

I've already had this problem before, but i can not figure out how i solved it.

When I munge my side, in-game the "custom" animation don't work.

For example munging the stock rep side, the clone commander "custom" animation does not show in-game, when you activate "rally" the trooper do the grenade-animation. (this happens with the jedis too, they have no anims and the game crash)

The funny fact is that, im munging the stock side, can anyone help?

This is why folks should always follow-up on their own 'help' topics and post the solution when they solve it. You never know when you'll need that information again, and others searching for answers to the same problem are lead to a dead end because the author of the thread never followed through to conclusion.
