ZE ANM mode crashing
Just about every time I go into ZE ANM mode, the dang thing crashes. Sometimes, it waits long enough to crash so that I can animate something. More often then less it just crashes as soon as I press the button. It seems so random. Has anybody else experienced this problem?

I'm thinking perhaps something got corrupted or something...

Re: ZE ANM mode crashing
It happens to me a lot when I'm trying to work in anim mode in a screen where a lot of objects are present. I usually try and be careful about rotating the camera and saving often as I create keyframes, and while it'll still crash it'll be less of an issue. Can't say what causes it although I've made some guesses (none of which I have any real solution to). My best guess would simply be an issue related to the editor rendering objects onscreen.

... That being said, you can move objects to a temporary layer and make that layer invisible.

Yeah that seems to be the problem, I could either do what teancum said, or just turn off the display objects button.

Not sure if it would help, but you could also lower the visibility:
