Clone Élites: Commander Bly (Done)

Okay, this is going to be my first skin ever. I mean it, EVER. I've never skinned for any game before, and I have never even touched Photoshop before. So, be warned: lower your expectations.

Anyway, I've made a skin for Commander Bly - and then, hopefully, some more special clones (for a list of hopefuls, look at the poll). I will not be making too many extra peripherals for now, as I have no knowledge of modelling. These are just skins that will make your troops look as close to these "Deluxe Models" as possible.

Well, I did a search in the SW databanks, and put in all i could find. I've never heard of Commander Faie - perhaps, you could tell me more about him?

EDIT - I couldn't find any backshots of Bly, so I don't know what he looks like from behind. If any of you do find one, please help me by giving me a link.

I'll post it there tomorrow. That's when it get's over. Bly is almost complete. Just his carbon-scoring, and a bit of touch-up left. Hopefully, we'll see this in some-one's mods.

Pretty nice skinning. However, you will have a problem adding that kamas (command skirt) because the model doesn't have that on it. Basically the regular trooper is the best model you've got.

Please correct me if I'm wrong though,

Well, I'm just going to provide the skins. That'll include the skirt/cape. I can attach the heavy trooper's cape along with it, shaded to match Bly. Whosoever uses my skins can attach the cape, or keep it as-is. I only wish the mod-tools would work on my PC. Then, I could make my own unit-mods myself.

Hmm... That would be a fairly easy reskin on cloaked Anakin. The helmet would look funky, but the rest pretty easy.

With the commander Bly skin you now have its easy (I think, I don't know much about skinning) to make one of my favourite commanders, basicly a red Bly,which was the original concept for commander Bly, but then they turned him into the yellow Bly to make him fit in Felucia better, called Commander Deviss http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/e ... deviss.jpg

If its difficult making him don't make him though, cause he wasn't even in the movies

But the red in this deviss skin should be a little darken IMHO
And without the pauldron and the visor and the kama, he just doesn't look like him

I hope someone finds a way to add the pauldron and the kama, or even better, I hope that OOM-9, the mastermodeller
