Changin ODF files

Post by trainmaster611 »

I just have a quick question. When you edit and save the odf in a Data_*** folder and munge, is the VisualMunge going to pick that up? Or would you have to add the object again in ZE after I change it? Or am I supposed to do something else? Image

awhat? O.o

If we're talking about .odf 'root' files such as rep_inf_default - which everyone is using as the ClassParent - then since it's in the Side you gotta munge the side... :?

Can you be mroe precise?

--If it's in data_***/Worlds/***/ODF it will pick it up.
--If it's in data_***/Sides/* it will pick it up when it munges the side. (For both of these if the changes don't appear, clean and munge.)
--If it's in data_***/Common/ODF the changes won't show. These files are munged into ingame.lvl which can't run from an addon folder. You might try copying any odfs from this folder that are changed into your data_***/Worlds/***/ODF folder. (For the most part this worked in SWBF1)
