Targa type 10 - Munge error [Solved]

Post by jubjoe567 »

My map is almost complete but there are a few kinks I need to work out. One I can't figure out. Whenever I munge my sides I get a warning like: Targa type 10 not currently supported, and it lists 1 or 2 units. Then when I test my map those units come up completely black. Just like the special units before enough points are gained, except these units don't need points and they play normally, they are just completely black for some reason. Does anyone know what "Targa type 10" means?

Maybe you saved the skins without checking off RLE Compression?

Targa type 10 means that you didn't uncheck RLE compression. Make sure you did, re-save the skins, then try a manual clean and munge.

Rather than choosing the "Save" option choose "Save As" instead. That way the RLE compression option will appear again.

I did all that and made sure they were all unchecked.

Try manual clean. (go to C:\BF2_ModTools\data_AAA\_BUILD\Sides\IWC and delete ur "MUNGED" folder, where "IWC" is the name of ur custom side folder)

Then re-munge
