I have used the sound tutorials here several times without a problem and i'm pretty sure many others have also. If you think "the tutorials do not work" then it means you are doing something wrong. You are probably just getting really excited about modding and are becoming impatient. Slow down, take your time and follow along as you go through the tutorials.
If you are requesting someone to set up the sound related files for you then please use the All-Purpose Request Thread or else you must do the best you can then explain in detail what problems you run into so the community can help you.

I used these tutorials here on my last PC without trouble. (Windows XP)

Few months ago I bought 2 new PCs for modding. Using these tutorials again on my new pc with freshed installed XP, I had trouble. The munge kept munging the test files instead of my MID sounds folder. So after reading for few days trying differnt things. I decided to deleted the test filesin my MID sounds folder, and Woah! it munge the correct MID sounds folder.

Thought I like to explore files and edit things out of curiousity to see what happens. I might have changed something to cause that lol.

Can you post what ya all did? If ya can.
