Ah, well OK. It's still nice, I like the simplistic look. Kinda reminds me of Super Mario Bros.

i think it looks very nice dohnutt. i do see what you mean on the house however. definitely change/fix the roof as it looks pretty 3d. not sure that i like the lines on the house either (you said you didn't like the house though lol) i really like the grass and clouds though, they look very nice

looks pretty professional, i like it, sort reminds me of the noodles & company website
will it be flash based?
critique would be on the house...idk it looks a bit too out of place.
EDIT - lol i wrote this before obi and posted it a min ago, funny how we said similar things

Re: Graphic Art- Everything Else
Thanks guys, I appreciate it. BTW, don't be afraid of offending me. As long as it's constructive criticism, I'll be fine lol.
I totally agree with the house. Looks way out of place, and it's still a beta version - not even sure if that's gonna be the design at all. We're definitely looking for a website which displays a scene and then the content is integrated into that.
We were also thinking that, maybe a half-painted wall with a few splotches of paint and some painters tools lying around might be cool, considering we're playing off of the words "interior design"

-nah, I prefer Gimp over everything. Photoshop is great, but you can't beat a free open source program...Dohnutt wrote:Nice - is that what you usually use? I thought you used Fireworks or something...Ipodzanyman wrote:I used Gimp

The first banner's text is quite unreadable, and features a dull gray picture mixed with gaudy text colors.
If you add some more color, in a unified theme, it would have some promise
Drop shadows are also a way to make text more readable on certain backgrounds.

Nice pictures. Also, does "Soldner der Nacht" mean "Soldiers of Night"?B.I.G_Cookie wrote:My first two banners I ever made.
