Trouble with gifs?

GIMP has made it very easy to work with gifs in my opinion.

Don't know what you use for photo editing, but if you haven't tried GIMP, you might want to check it out.

No, I've been using GIMP for a LONG time, but I can make gifs, it's modifying gifs, I have problems actually seeing the layers I want to edit, selecting it in the layers toolbar doesn't work, so I've tried cutting out the layers but that doesn't work either.....

@Ipodzanyman - Haha, well that took some time. But I figured it out.
All I did was make a square/"Dohnutt" text in MSPaint, and then copy it into Corel PhotoPaint (That's what I use) as an object.
It automatically copied to ever frame, so I just saved it, and...

Seeing all of the underground going round (heh heh, that rhymed), the randomocity of it, and the hilariousness of how it started and has sort of become an inside joke here at Gametoast, I decided to make sort of a "tribute" background to the "underground."

All the links under the pictures are for 1280x800 backgrounds. If you have 1024x768, just use the 1280x800 backgrounds, they don't lose quality. Here are my experiments:

Thanks! I just added a transparent layer to the first picture and overlayed a gradient. It adds a nice touch IMO.
