New Map (beta version) RLcT: BEACHHEAD

Hey folks / beta testers,
Thought i would post this map here, see what people think. Hope for some feed back on ideas or problems.
This is a map where the Alliance land on a beach and try to take
a heavily fortified imperial base. The Alliance find an intense
battle on the beach. The Imperials must hold the Alliance to the
beach or the may be over run. It is hard fight for the Alliance.
Alliance found some used vehicles from the clone war era.

Dude, that looks... well. :eek: :eek: :eek:

Can I port that to SWBF2 as a bonus map for the Conversion Pack? Seriously, it looks that good. My only thing is it has to be called a Star Wars planet, but other than that it'll be the same.

Hey yeah no problem at all. *flattered*
Its got geo. sky and mostly tat. rocks and props, and then it has grass (unlike tatooine) so i dont know what planet you would call it. But yeah thanks and feel free to use it however you want.

I still wanted to make a radar map and put together a preview movie, and deal with the known issues in the read me. I'm hoping i can get some people playing it then get some feed back on it. So I posted the map early since i wont really have a lot time to work on it for a bit.

Well, we've got two different Bothan models, so how about Bothawui: Beachead?

P.S. The planet that map is on could be Abregado Rae. Its a planet of mixed climate and terrians and is one of the core planets that surrounds coruscant 8)

The first official release of the map should be ready in a few days i think :D it was starting to get a little gitchy, so i had to revert to a backed up version and made some changes... its looking good. And the AI use the tunnel systems and cliff ledges now :P

Hey porch wookie. Or should i say reason? This is {ALT}Lead.Beamo talkin'. I don't think we've ever played but your in RlcT right? Hmmm, just thought I'd say awesome map, man. Looks really cool and plays great. I hope to know you better in the future. Thanks for advice on my regions problem by the way. Anyway,awesome map!

Yeah, it can be confusing, but i play as PoRCH WooKIE in 1.2 and REASON in 1.0. I have been PW for like almost 2 years now, but one day i decided to check out 1.0, played, then i met Fang and i joined RLcT. I play 1.2 way more; but i make maps and mods for the clan and play with clan members now and again... I used the name REASON for my tour of 1.0 and then i joined RLcT so it stuck. the 2 communities (1.0 and 1.2) are pretty well established now days, most 1.0 players hate 1.2 because its too chaotic, and most 1.2 ppl are stuck with it b/c most use the "BoPC"version... but floating back and forth aint so bad; lots of ppl do actually. i like 1.2 because i know lots of people and more people play that patch
