Wow
This Commando looks awesome, but I would add some red to the shoulders.
The helmet of my old Elite-Nova trooper was to painty, the armour was to dark The colour was more yellow / orange instead of yellow / orange etc..
So I present you a complete improved Elite-Nova.
Its not that dark, the helmet isnt painty, the helmet has much more details and the colour is more golden then yellow.

@Rogue: Yep, you have to compete with that... oh wait, the commando! I would make the red darker, add other red somewhere and leave the visor blue. But hey it's your skin! Looks nice, btw
Ahah, a purple desert clone trooper. well done. I like it lol. The felusia clones had yellow designs, the 212th attack battilion had orange for the rocky canyon place. But how ever, the shock trooper wore red designs on coursant. They were ment to be noticed so civillians would fear them throught out the city filled planet. They werent royal. They are like a national guard and secret service type backed up by a full army division. In this case the 501st battle legion division.
But back to the skins lol.
Know I know many of these have been done. But I just had to try it with darthducks models and UV's.
Heres my 2nd attempt at the 212th airborne paratrooper.

By all means go right ahead and make similar designs for your desert troopers. And heres a uv mapped version of the desert camo. I used photoshop to colors up. Call me a noob if ya must, but what is .pat. Is that palettes?
I gave my red and black camo Death Watch battledroid an overhaul. Tried making him resemble this

So.....
yeah....

I'd say there's a striking resemblance.... well, at least I got as close as I could.
A long time ago, the other one was just a temporary re-hue of the sniper camo droid. This.....this is an all out re-texture (that I modified from the internet, again...I mean, you can find camo anywhere, tbh. I also used a hint of 'cloud' from PS CS2, so yeah...lots of toying around. Using other textures as a base is what I do best. lolz)
