Anyway... yea I tried this mod out. It was wicked. :D But I uninstalled it cause it kinda ... erm..screwed up my custom maps or it just flat out crashed on me on some points...but eh. lol

Thanks for all the feedback!

At the moment I am working at an update which shall at least contain following feateres:
Rebalancing the hero units
fixing the hero assault bug
reworking space combat (cockpits, making the ARC-170 a bomber with two or three positions, making the V-Wing a Fighter)
rebalancing the superbattledroid's wrist rocket

Know what would be best ?
Adapting the Recon Units, as they're very popular. I think this would make the TEC mod a bit better, again.

The DC_15s by OOM-9 was not in said mod, ergo I think the author would be wise to acquiese to enhancing the materials with said mod made by our allustrious comrade.

I have TEC I and TEC II and they're the best mods I've put on a game EVER. They are completely amazing.

True, they have bugged up some downloadable maps, but I think it's worth it to play on this.

Can't wait for the next version!

The only problem I have, is that it doesn't work with the SWBF1 conversion pack, and that is a serious problem, if you could somehow get it to work with that, then we would all be very happy.

I've had that problem before, but i solved it.
Step 1: clear out your addon folder, make backups of your maps(if required). The addon folder should be empty.
Step 2: de-install the TEC mod by bringing back the back-ups you made when installing the TEC mods. (mission.lvl, rep.lvl, etc.)
Step 3: install the Conversion pack.
Step 4: install the TEC mods again.

you're done and ready for combat now.

PS: Steps 1 and 2 are exchangeable, if the order I presented doesn't work, try to do step 2 first.

Interesting, I'll try that, it doesn't seem to sound like it would work, but that could be me. Thanks!

No. Eisenfaust promised to fix this bug in the next version of TEC.

Hi everyone!
I tried to contact swbf-files staff but somehow I wasn't able to send 'em mails...

However Version 1.1 is ready with following changes:


- Heroes were weakened to be more balanced
- The Bug that caused Mos Eisly Hero Assault to crash was fixed
- V-Wing and ARC-170 changed their roles - the V-Wing now is a fighter while the
ARC-170 now is a fighter-bomber
- The Arc-170 now has three positions
- The Jedi Starfighter's rockets were removed - it's lasers in turn were
improved
- The Superbattledroid's Wrist Rocket stopped being target seeking
- Several graphical changes
- Inclusion of Rekubot's DH-17; OOM-9's DC-15s; C-26's 3 Legion Pack,
Republic Gunship Cockpits for the A-Wing, the V-Wing and the ARC-170,
TIE-Bomber Cockpit for the Eta-2 Actis; The TIE-Interceptor now fires
it's weapons linked and the Rebel Urban Heavy Trooper got it's hands
back ;)
