HUD issue
Hey guys. I've been working on a custom hud setup and I've encountered an unusual phenominon. In attempting to move the Health and Energy bars to a different spot, they move fine but there is a duplicate set of them in the same spot. I think this might be due to the fact that both Ingames are loaded, old and new, and the old one is still feeding in the original hud even though its been replaced. Any ideas on this is fixed?

im not completely sure, but i think that repsharpshooter found out that you cant edit or remove anything that is already there, you can only add more elements. the bars are duplicated because the original bars cant be removed.

Yep, that's right. I tried removing or editing a number of things, and they were always duplicated.DarthD.U.C.K. wrote:im not completely sure, but i think that repsharpshooter found out that you cant edit or remove anything that is already there, you can only add more elements. the bars are duplicated because the original bars cant be removed.

...uh.
With what? More stuff? That would just clutter up the HUD.

AFAIK the PC's HUD stacks on top of the default HUD. Both files have to be changed to remove elements. Could be wrong though, it's been a very long time.

Re: HUD issue
I had attempted to do that Teancum, and to no avail. I gave up on moving them but may revisit it.. I had made the same changes for each of the hud files also.
