Mon Calimari v-wing beta now live!
Ok I uploaded a beta of my v-wing to the downloads section of my site.

Remeber this is a beta, so expect a few minor bugs. I am working on the finail now, so keep your lightsaber on your belt boys. lol

Hmm... after many enjoyable minutes of flying around in endless circles with my new Vwing and TIE Interceptor,
I have to say that this has the makings of a very good map. (I didnt test infantry, just the vehicles.)
Complaints:
TIE: Seems a tad too slow for an Interceptor. Maybe put it in the Bespin Platforms map and test it out against the regular TIE, see if it is really faster, but it just seems a bit too slow. Also, the lasers dont feel right. Maybe have them rapid fire like the Xwing or duel fire in an X pattern. (Top left, bottom right - Top right, bottom left) Great idea: Maybe have the ability to scroll through firing options? (like with infantry rifle and pistol) Justa thought...
Vwing: Missles dont lock onto infantry like the clone's LAAT. Dont know if that was intentional or not... The missles also have little or no splash damage. The missles seem to run out early, I fired in vollies of six but I eventually had three left, not six. And (last thing for the missles, I swear) the missles seem just a tad underpowered. I havent tested it out to see is six missles equal one Xwing torpedo, but it seems just a bit weaker. (Or are the Interceptors stronger? Havent tested that out.) Also, the ship icon is missing from the miniscreen. You have the Interceptor, but not the Vwing. Last but not least, (a minor thing) in 1st person view, the blinking light doesnt look like the rest of the lights on the dashboard. Your choice on whether to fix it, but it would look better if you could see the lightbulb when the light wasnt turned on.
Compliments:
TIE: Great roll while turning it, it felt great to be almost upside down. ^_^ Something Ive missed from SWBF. The sounds go great and I never noticed any lag in the sound times.
Vwing: Great job on the design, this thing is huge. ^_^ It looks great parked next to the Xwing. Just a beautiful peice of work.
Cant wait to see the finished version of the map. (Hopefully larger and better, K?)

That depends, what do you need modeled. Hey BlackHawk I'll upload it to yousendit.com, if you'd like. I've been busy the last few days modeling a bunch of new props (hanger, halls and mon calamari buildings) im nearly done with them, so stay tuned. Also look for updated screanshots on my site.

I have a simple request, maybe not so simple, if you would like to fill it. Can you make me a simple building (like a small cave or something a little more complex than a simple boxed room) and vehicle mesh in xsi so I can see how things are supposed to look like before exporting it into the game and see the required layout. I'm having a little trouble in that dept. and I can barely understand the mod docs. I'm a visual person. I know it is a large request, but I really want to get our mod rolling faster than it is. Help me L-5-R, your my only hope.
I'll understand if you don't have the time for it. (Listen too me, I'm talking like a newbie. How did I resort down to this.

It's got better acceleration and a faster top speed than any shipped starfighter, and it's 30% faster than a regular TIE. Bear in mind we have to try to balance new units, how they are in the movies against what already exists in the game.TIE: Seems a tad too slow for an Interceptor. Some of ya'll are making really good suggestions, but keep in mind game balance. Without it, the game would be utterly boring. Sat and the others make really good maps and I quite enjoy playing them and I will soon be evaluating them with a fine-toothed comb just so they will not get perfect reviews. But with thier quality, that may be harder than expected.
A note for future modders, use their projects as a guideline to making your own. Soon I hope everyone, including my team, are able to come to par with their quality and have gametoast have the reputation of the site where the pros come to make and play.
BTW. Good job GT on BW. Never got a chance to mention it.
