It would be some work, but you could make several ingame.lvls one with the current HUD, one with the default, but HUD tag fixes, and maybe one other with a different design, all with support for Zerted's stuff.

I like the blue, but thats just me.

I'd like that :P Your new HUD looks very good, but it's a tad to big and... in my face for me (personal taste)

Okay. I only wanted this for the HUD and it's freakin' awesome, (i know it's rude to ask) can you hury up with getting the fake console one and maybe some other amazing HUDs out? I use Fake Console A LOT.

On-Topic:I think the HUD is awesome as it is, but I think the Blue needs to be toned down.

The HUD could be a tad smaller too.

RepSharpshooter can't do it without my files and I can't do it without RepSharpshooter 's files. Neither of us has asked the other for his files yet. Right now, I'm too busy with the custom era shell mod anyway. Wait a week.

@(Edwinator): The smaller part is agreed, but I like the blue. Maybe some differnent color version and making it more t-shaped would help (adding another side on the bottom, to block off view like the visor should be (they're modeled off Fett's, so there is the blocked side(I :faint: and then :runaway: if you didn't know that))), though.

Oh, I really like the new HUD. A little more transparency wouldn't hurt, though, I think.

If I could make a suggestion about the new HUD, I like the idea of making it T-shaped, and I also agree that it's a little big feeling. Perhaps both of these could be addressed by rearranging things kind of like this:

If it were arranged like this, the HUD wouldn't take up as much screen space, and it would feel a little more like a visor, but it would still be redesigned and cool-looking. I don't know if this can be done or is what you're looking for, but I thought I would throw it out there. :)

I like it. But actually, the blue could be replaced with a more realistic color, like in commando (the parts of the screen that aren't HUD are black) and maybe even (if possible) scramble around where most things are. But I like this HUD. Jeez, there should be a thread about HUD making in the modding forum... :wink:

The problem with doing a commando-like HUD is that you can't run two HUDs at the same time. So when you're a droid you'd see the REP hud.

Hey Rep

I have a problem with the patch......I have a 19" Screen.....And when I am ingame the HUD is not at the edge.
Is this normal?

True.

You could however, do a hud that looks neither like a droid display or republic commando type display.

Or, you could do a hologram sorta thing.

That way it would look really sweet without making no sense while playing as a droid/clone/whatever else.

In my opinion, I don't really care what side the hud belongs too, as long as it looks like something that will keep me awake while I'm playing.

The default hud is sorta.... *Cough-Cough* boring... *Cough*

Well, actually the rep HUD looks a little like the droid ones. Besides, the droids only had sensors, not eyes. So the HUD wouldn't matter.

It's true. But the rebels would make no sense. I get why Teancum said that. But still, I'm pretty sure the rebels have something over one eye that's kinda like an HUD with a few characters. But I like what Authraw did to the HUD in his post on the last page.

I think the default HUD desgin fitted all of the units, accept that it was sorta plain :\

I have finally downloaded this patch and tried it out. It's very cool; Makes the game way much better. I don't know about the other members but I like the new HUD. Keep up the good work, RepSharpshooter! :)
