(shields has an E after the I) would probably be correct me if I am wrong invisible geometry with an effect. The seismic grenades, I am assuming timebombs, would be as simple as changing the effect. I would need more info on sonic grenades but if you have a look in the common ODF's (data_ABC/sides/common) you should be able to play around with push, explosion, damage, etc. Hopefully this helps.Anakin wrote:shilds

its'like he said. i used the smoke effect from destroid vehickes, but after a while the whole map smoked XD i will use it for signal grenade

Could someone please test a mod for me, my computer is having some issues, I'm developing a sides mod and it should work (it works on my test map) but I can't test it as a global side. I'll be done with it tomorrow. If someone could just test it to make sure it works that'd be great.

If you want to edit/create sides, you should head over to the modding forum and check out the FAQ topics. They should answer all your questions, but if they don't, the search tool is there for a reason.

5. same with number 4
6. made a cluster grenade in my assets pack all you would need to do is what would needed to do in number 5 to the effects and stuff and maybe modify it to be a certain number of grenades, you could figure it out.
though i like making effects and this looks like a fun one to make, i think i'll let you make it, it seems just like a stock smoke effect i've seen, all you'd need to do it set it to last 30 seconds by setting the particles and such, it wouldn't be too hard, just play around with PE and look at what happens.Anakin wrote:can someone do a smoke effect for me? it should look like this:

Now for my request. i've run out of XSI but before i did i was working on a nice tank model for a transport, all i needed to do was get the firepoints and turrets set up, if someone could do that i'd appreciate it a lot. i also have a stock gun i wanted to use but the thing is centered wrong, all you'd need to do with the gun is just lower it, just make it so that the top of the handle is at 0,0,0 and thats it for that one. Also i have IE, yes lame i know, so if you could upload it to somewhere other than gamefront i could download it.

The models you provided are in MSH format. What should both models' textures be named, and do they have clusters? (It would be a whole lot easier if you could get on Xfire.

Thank you for the gun, you fixed that faster than i expected anyone to.
i already set up a texture for the tank (i think its greystone or darkmetal or something of that sort) i just haven't included it in with the models as its just the firepoints and the turrets that need to be set up (all of the guns on the vehicle move). i had attempted to add the stuff before but never got it working, the names are set up though.

If ever possibe can someone do a Droid dispenser?

an object i allready found. what it should do:
- Placable like an Airstrike. you place an detpeck and than a animated fighter flay over the position and places the dispeser. it fell down and kill the units under it.
and now droids come out. with animation. the container opens and the droids spwan. these shouldn't be part of the main reinforcments.

it seems like more of something that you would need to set up in zero editor as a command post for a team 3(or 4-9) that would be dropped into battle by an animated flier. since you can't really spawn ai like this (runs off to test if someone can spawn auto piloted walkers to a battle).
