Maybe Dave Filoni convinced him to change his mind?

That's ominous foreshadowing given what we found out today about Disney acquiring LucasArts.yuke5 wrote:Maybe Lucas has been deposed from his throne.
On topic, I thought the Onderon arc was alright, but I'm excited for the season to hit harder and faster like the premiere. Maybe I just have ADD, but I always get a little dreary when they introduce us to new characters with so many established ones that could provide interesting stories.

I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that the EU is anything non- original and prequel trilogies.

As for the Onderon Arc, I liked it, and one thought running through my head while watching it was "Boy is this whole training rebels deal going to bite Anakin in the back later on". I ,for one, am still waiting for

Am I the only one who is a little erked that a bunch of younglings can out smart a group of pirates, the same pirates who took Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Count Dooku hostage?

Well the pirates were busy being drunk, it didn't strike me as too impossible, weequays aren't exactly the brightest creatures anyway.

Anakin ends killing all of those younglings anyway, so that kind of makes up for it.

Re: Clone Wars Season 5
Am I the only one who finds it odd that Hondo is the answer to everything this season?
How is Kenobi going to defeat BOTH Maul and Opress?
Hondo
How are we going to get the supplies to Onderon without taking sides?
Hondo
How do we keep this youngling story arc going? They've found the crystals, built the lightsabers, now what?
Hondo
How do we get the younglings out of the seemingly impossible corner we've written them into?

Re: Clone Wars Season 5
I do enjoy Hondo, but I have had my fill for now. I imagine they'll get away from him in whatever arc is coming next. My impression is that his appearances were supposed to be a bit more spread out, since the Maul/Oppress episode was originally intended to take place later in the season. So in that case, the excessive amounts of Hondo are more coincidental/accidental.

Re: Clone Wars Season 5
Correct, these episodes weren't produced in the order that they aired so Hondo's back-to-back appearances weren't intentional. I suspect that we won't be seeing him again this season.
So how awesome was the Slave I cameo?

I didn't really get it. I thought Boba Fett still had it. How does Hondo have it?

Re: Clone Wars Season 5
There's more than one Firespray class ship out there. It could have been Slave I, but it wasn't necessarily so.
