Not munging objects?

I found out what the error was on my map, where you couldn't spawn. It's not the spawn paths or anything like that, it's the OBJECTS. They don't appear. I used free camera to explore without spawning (because I can't) and I saw that there were no objects in my map. I want and looked at my munger and munged, and saw that no objects were being munged. Manual clean does not work. Any suggestions?

Remunge a world with the same name and description (different mapcode) and copy everything into it. A veteran member can elaborate more.

Make sure you added your objects in your lua

He is correct. You may need to follow the tutorial in the modding FAQ.

Ok, thanks, I'll see what's there.

Edit: Time for the moment of truth...the munge.

...nope. It didn't work. I'm DONE FOR! :faint:

Well, let's just say it didn't load the correct map. I'll re-copy it over and remunge.

Try #2. Made new folders for odf, msh, and obj. Munged. Didn't work.

Loaded defaulto map, this time with no cps, which made it not able to spawn.

Am I doomed to a horrible fate? Or does someone have the answer to this horrifying question? :runaway:

did you put the mshs and odfs in the data_XXX\Words\XXX\odf /msh folder?

Yes, I did put them there. It's all very weird. Does this have anything to do with the lua?

cps can disappear when youve declared them improperly in the lua, but thats all.

I'd write it up to a tech fail and start over.

I don't believe that you have to add them in a hero assault lua. All of the objects are gone in my map when I use free camera.

A tech fail is almost never a good excuse to start over.

My obj folder is for my saved .group (or whatever) files, which are some of the stock maps saved as other big object groups! (And I even had moving lava too) I once got to play it, but then came that oh so very terrible munge... :faint:

First, they are called obgs, not objs. Second, they goe in the odf folder.

Yep. My bad. Moved to odf folder, but I'm not sure that should do much.

All I was gonna do was the deathregions and some starfighters maybe...and maybe a sides edit.

Remunging...and lookie here! It's munging the objects! You know why? Because I deleted all the stuff in the data_xxx/_build/worlds/MUNGED/PC folder. Now it has to remunge all of that, but oh well.

Now this might take a while... :|

Edit: (After the munge and after playing) The objects still won't appear along with the cps...
I think I'll add some exploding bubbles! (Work of Fiodis)

Hmmm...what shall I do now?
