Have you heard of Ash (The Band)???
BEFORE YOU POST: Go to this link:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/recsradio/radi ... g&volume=4
Listen for a couple of seconds before saying anything.
Does anyone here like this band? They did the promo video for RC, with their song "Clones". The main singer's name is Tim Wheeler.
I have not met even ONE person, online or in-the-flesh who likes Ash. They're my favorite band - is there anyone here who likes them????

Hmm.... my GT clock is an hour off, too. I never even knew there was a clock.
@Ping - Oh, oops.
But anyways, we're getting off-topic.

I set my clocks right. And I'm in the right timezone.
Anyway! On topix!
Yeah I've never liked Ash (sorry). Not my kind of music. In fact, I had no clue who sang that song until you mentioned em. I just thought it was some hired group like the groups that sing the Toyota and Wendys commercials.

Hmmm....
I'm guessing you guys don't like the voice? He's Irish - so his voice is a little strange. But I like that kind of voice (I also like Muse a little).

I would love to but my parents don't like secular music (ever since the Maroon V incident)

Though I might be able to convince them to let me get it. Do they cuss at all? That's the only thing my parents really care about (that and "themes")

Re: Have you heard of Ash (The Band)???
I have a couple albums..... take a look at the lyrics online.vegati wrote:Though I might be able to convince them to let me get it. Do they cuss at all? That's the only thing my parents really care about (that and "themes")
I'm not allowed all of their songs - some of them are really bad. DON'T get Nu-Clear Sounds - it is their worst album. I'd get Meltdown - worst thing is a beaver's whole livelihood in "Evil Eye" (if you didn't catch that, I mean ad-word).
Free All Angels has an f-bomb in "World Domination", which is a stupid song anyway. "Twilight of the Innocents" has h-e-l-l in one of the songs. I don't have the other albums.
Great music though, as long as you don't listen to the really bad songs.

I like Ash. Theyre pretty good. I've only really heard Clones, but I would probably like most of their music (it's straight up my ally)
