RIP My Pop-Pop (Grandpa)
Died at 1 pm today. He had been recovering from a stroke he had back in the summer, but his death was still unexpected.

Re: The Gametoast Obituaries
My Grandmother on my dad's side died the 18th, I was to tied up with all that, that I haven't had a chance until now to make any posts. I have one "Mema" left now, for the first time since 1950 there isn't a Gray living on Gatewood avenue. She was 79, preceeded in death by her son and husband. A woman who's impact has forever changed the people around her, she will be sorely missed. May God rest her soul.

RIP victims of the Chilean Earthquake. 8.8 on the Richter Scale. Tsunami also headed for Japan, which also experienced an aftershock of this same earthquake. No reported deaths there yet, but keep them in your prayers.

Farewell, Grandpa.
After a harsh battle with Alzheimers, he passed away last night.
It seems my memories of him being able to even forumulate a sentence decently are already fading away...
And now an old, brittle parapalegic lady is living by herself. I wonder what my mom and her sisters are gonna do. And my mom hasn't even hinted that Grandpa died. I only learned because my dad told me.
She cried when our old cat died.

Re: The Gametoast Obituaries
I don't think she's that type. My dad's more sensitive than she is, and he's the man. She's already shot my dad down.
She's been up since 3 a.m. when she was told to go to the hospital, so I figure she probably had her alone time then.
