This looks awesome, and from what I've seen I'll definitely give it a download. One question, Mav, when you test this out to see if something works, is the performance hindered much by all the new animations?

Yeah man, every update is highly appreciated and it doesnt matter if it has got screenshots or not.

And now I'll wait for the skydomes update, the Mygeeto one looks pretty nice.
Are the Kashyyyk and Felucia skydomes also dark?

That's not really how animations affect the game. The game has a limit on individual animation states it can have loaded at once (and combos), but as long as you don't cross that limit, everything is fine.

What I meant by "getting close to the limit" is this - each Jedi has anywhere from 10-30 animation states. There are 9 Jedi animationsets, which probably means about 150-200 (at once) is the limit. I'm under that limit by only less than 10, for sure.

Haven't decided yet. Mygeeto is the only one I've done so far; it was done as a test. I'm only going to add 1 or 2 skydomes per map, because each one adds about 1.5 MB to the final size (which can add up when you add them across about 15 maps).

When I add skydomes, it'll be contingent on what works with the lighting that already exists - since I'm not changing the map's lighting and just adding skydomes (this is most space-efficient), I've got to make sure the new skydomes still look good with the stock lighting.

Amazing piece of work! The models are awesome and the force effects look very impressive, too.

I know this is really late for me to say this, and no offense, i think the Shadow Guard's saber blade needs to be a little longer... like so :

so your working on the scripts then, so when do you expect this to be ready? (im not rushing you, take all the time you need), also, will this work with BFX 2.2 or will i have to chose between the two?

Looking great, Mav. Will you have the (i beleive they're called) Purge troopers (big tall guys with dark armor like imp jet trooper that are very strong)?

I suppose you don't need to be told again Mav but I'll do you the service -- you've really outdone yourself.

The potential this system has for reviving jedi combat in swbf2 in terms of gameplay is great.

I won't delude myself into thinking that I can revamp online play at this point - while as always I work hard to take balance and PvP into account (and in fact this melee system is designed in a way that should hopefully deepen PvP melee a little), it's worth noting that a lot of the improvements I'm making are SP-focused: AI heroes and random heroes will be disabled online, and some of the gamemodes I'm working on are highly SP-oriented.

But hero assault sure is fun in SP too!
