Technically, yes, but the purple is more like an aura than a color. This is only the first mproved Ing skin, so it will be improved as time goes on.

Actually, on the map, the area in whcih the acklay will be is in a cave, dark enough the color of the skin wont matter.

I didn't play the second metroid, and I know the Ing's are just black. It just seems a little plain to me. Don't know what else you could add if your tryin to make it accurate... The ackley looks ing-ish but it looks a little odd with the mouth open. I like the eye though, great job.

Darth_Z13: Very Nice, the skin is awesome. Is a map in process with it? It would be a cool new concept: underwater battles.

Hawksolo: I'm glad to hear you'll put the ackley somewhere dark so you have to rely on seeing the eye to shoot it. Hopefully you'll have a group of them swarm you at once, fun challenge trying to fight them off by shooting almost blindly into the dark. (Or thats just the way I picture it, do whatever you want.) But anyway here's your skin:

Looks good, well as good as a ing could look. I'll try it later in a darkish/cave environment for you to see how it looks.

I think the Ing needs more dots on the face. It looks like it has more of a face than an eye. No offence...

Once again. That is what an Ing is, my friend. No detail in it. I MP 2, the details came from the model, not the texture, as you can see the models in the game are very well done.

Then your texture is more than just crap. Sorry, but you're making it very easy for yourself by just filling it all black and making a few dots...

Yep I've got a secret map in development that's not so secret anymore.

EDIT: Here's an old Republic Trooper I did that still needs refining.

yeah... the budget cut trooper and at-st are some of my first skins... thats why they suck
