Yeah seriously that make it a lot better. I had an idea, what about making a Geonosis Dust cloud all around and make it grey. I'm not sure if you can make it grey though
making the spider droid isnt impossible, you just have to start from scratch and make your own. find some reference pics and i might make the spider and tri droid, youll just have to find someone to make the textures, ill UV map it though. you can make the tri droid a walker and just have 1 person driving and shooting while 2 other people control the other 2 "faces".

so when else fails, we could try to get the Advanced Dwarf Spider Droid out of Republic Commando, depending on whether we could convert it or not...converting from JA is possible, this leads me to the question which engine it uses - Does anyone know ?
@ Elmo: Both beam cannon and missile launcher...the disadvantage of not being able to dodge rocket must be compensated.
@Topic: Oh, the name...that's a real problem, due to the incredible number of already released MyGhetto Custom Maps.
republic commando doesnt use JAs engine, JA is just a modded out Q3a engine, its pretty outdated, i dont own rep commando though so i dont know what engine it uses but it definately doesnt use JAs. if you use JA models you have to pretty much remodel everything since a head of a JA model has more polygons than any unit in SWBF2, you also have to scale the model down ALOT and then reposition the arms and legs over the SWBF2 skeleton which isnt easy without the help of bones, its not like theres a key in XSI to move models limbs, it has to be rigged to bones to do that which it wont be.
Pulch, i think dodging a rocket is not that hard... but if not, I'll fix that... What do you mean there have been many Mygeeto maps released? I only know of one
Edit: hrph... an advanced spider droid? I'd prefer a Tri Droid... I don't really like the design of that vehicle.
well the dwarf spider droid is only a little bit bigger than the droideka so it should be used as a special unit, probably replacing the magna guards since they dont really belong. ill try to make one but thats only if i really get off my Diet Dr. Pepper and go for it, spending alot of time learning the source engine.
