Well, for low end lighting, you could always do a batch texture hue adjustment. . .

Right, top ambiet etc only shows on units, it seems. Maybe a new thread for that is in order.

Well, with a bit of practice using the scripting and ZE animation, i've made lockable doors for my level. My doors are based off of the same concept as most of the locked doors in star wars. Shoot the panel, and the door opens. I was suprised how this changed the map though, because with certain routes cut off, it forced the bots down different paths. Hallways that that the bots would almost never walk through suddenly became battlefields, while usual hotspots became desolate. After these doors are done i'll only have a few things left to do.

I'm looking forward to this still. I love that lighting in the last picture. Are the custom units similar to the ones in the BF1 underwater map?

The custom units are the ones from my first map(RVIG2). After doing these lockable doors though, I'd have to say that there is a 75% chance that my next underwater map will feature both indoor and underwater combat.

An estimate on % done: mabye 80%

Well, the map is nearly done. CTF is done, new units are in, and the bot paths polished. The minimap and loading screen are the only things giving me trouble.

Dude, this stuff is just...insane. You are one heck of a great mapper. May I ask if there is actually water outside the buildings? If so, how did you make it so they are not damaged? Did you just give them health at the same rate the water takes it? If so, what is that rate, LOL. And, isnt it always blinking red then, for the getting injured players?

Scratch the loading screen, only need the minimap and it's done.

The trick to it is, there is no water on the map. The bubbles are just a clever use of the weather effects, and the indoors are rainshadowed.

Well, I was able to pull together a minimap. I'm going to run some final tests, and then hopefully host it if I don't find any errors.

Well, all testing is complete. I tested both single player and multiplayer and both seemed to work fine. I'll be sending it out now. Link will be below.

Just played and i got the crap scared out of me. Not because of the level but because my compy just randomly restarted itself. Anyone know why? I set teh conquest reinforcements to 750 and half way through BAM! restart! But anyways the parts i did play were amazing! Great work Astute! Plus it could have been a fluke.

I just tried setting up a server and lauched it without a crash, however maybe if people were to join it would of crashed!

BTW awesome map Astute! Although I get lost sometimes lol. The lighting is very good!
