Delta-7 from BF1 on BF2
Is it possible? I would like to replace it by the Eta-2 on BF2 maps.
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.

There's no effective difference in models for one game versus the other.

Just drop the assets from the first game into a side.

And how do I add the MSH, ODF and REQ folders to my BF2' REP side so I can get it to work?

Just add the assets you need. It's not any different than adding any new material to a side - if you are unfamiliar with how to create a side, I suggest you browse to the "Everything you need" thread and check out some of the side tutorials.

I just want to replace the MSH's ODF's and REQ's of the Eta-2 by those of the Delta-7, but the files have different names, and I don't know which one is the correspondent.Maveritchell wrote:Just add the assets you need. Just replace the content of the default starfighter .odf with the content of the BF1 fighter's .odf. You don't have to change anything else.

But there are two odf's:
"rep_fly_anakinstarfighter_sc"
and
"rep_fly_jedifighter_sc"
Which one is it?

All you need to do is look at the model or a space map script to find out - the anakinstarfighter is the stock fighter from SWBF2 (Eta-2); the .odf you're copying from the SWBF1 assets is jedifighter.

What I meant is those two odf's are on the REP side of BF2. Which one do I replace?Maveritchell wrote:All you need to do is look at the model or a space map script to find out - the anakinstarfighter is the stock fighter from SWBF2 (Eta-2); the .odf you're copying from the SWBF1 assets is jedifighter.

You are trying to replace the stock fighter, right?Maveritchell wrote:All you need to do is look at the model or a space map script to find out - the anakinstarfighter is the stock fighter from SWBF2 (Eta-2)

Yes, but how can it work by just replacing the content of the ODF? I tried it, but it didn't work...Maveritchell wrote:You are trying to replace the stock fighter, right?Maveritchell wrote:All you need to do is look at the model or a space map script to find out - the anakinstarfighter is the stock fighter from SWBF2 (Eta-2)

Nevermind. I created a new space map, created a new side for the Delta-7, but now, I can't load it on my map. What do I need to do?

Exactly what everyones been trying to tell you. Just put the odf's and msh's into their respective folders and create a side req and vehicle req, and then load it as you would any other unit into the game

Re: Delta-7 from BF1 on BF2
Have you ever set up a vehicle spawn in ZE? I don't think you know what you're doing, because you aren't MEANT to see the vehicle in ZE. You should read the documentation that came with the modtools, they'll tell you how to set up vehicle spawns.
