Does anyone else have this problem? I'm using Mozilla Firefox and Windows Vista.

I think it's just that topic, because I get that in both Firefox and IE6 on Windows XP. Everything else is fine. Are other topics like that?

Yeah, in a WIP topic of mine, my first post went missing (the one that explains the whole project), but the rest of the posts are all there still. As far as I know, my first post was before the time of the thing guru described. I can always make a new post with the same information in it, but I imagine it would be a bit odd for someone to look in the topic, see a bunch of "good jobs," "I suggest doing this," and stuff, and then on the second page seeing the actual description of the project.

Well I do notice that some of my posts that were made a long time ago that were missing about a few hours ago last time I checked are back! But not all.

Yes, happened to my topic as well. I had a list of people for Team Fortress 2 and its gone >.<

believe it or not nothing is missing, there all there, cache was wiped and its catching up. Looks like a few things are slowly still adding old 1st topics and large topics are still updating. i looked at the database and its all there just this little update wiped the temp/cache that links mysql to the data. Let me know if in a few days everyting isnt back to normal , you know im always testing things, this was a super update behind the scenes and was a must, without going into details ;0

I'm still having this problem, and to be fair it's starting to get rather annoying.. especially in the "Released Assets" forum.

So, are these posts gone or is it something temporarily?

Everyone is having the same problem, and Guru is doing what he can to fix it. Just be patient.

If one ever watched their post count closely they would see it didn't change when the posts and all disappeared. Any time a post is trully gone from Gametoast the post count would go down. Think of the site as a house undergoing a major remodeling job where a lot of the furniture and stuff gets taken out but comes back later.
