How to create models in XSI and other 3D applications and make them work in Battlefront 1 & 2. Post models, tips for application usage and share anything XSI, 3DMax, SketchUp, etc.
Is that basically the rebel tank in BF2 but which has a turret on top? I was planning on making one of those, but your one will be better . Looking forward to seeing it in action.
yes, i believe you do . if you get the turret working in game, would it be possible for you to write a tutorial on how to do it, as i tried and failed miserably. BTW is this the T2B?
Hmmm... Maybe you could make it just a new vehicle, call it the Rebel APC (Armored Personell Carrier). The reason that that comes to my mind is because that is what it looks like right now (I'm not trying to be insulting, just a suggestion).
Yay! Teancum's request for a TIE Mauler and mine for the T2B are finally being answered! (at least I think Teancum asked for it )
Anyways, looks good so far. I reccomend that if you have Empire at war you look at it carefully to see what weapons and stuff are like. If you don't have it, I'll gladly make a fraps video of it and how it fights against enemy units, and a better look at the model.
He has Empire at war... and max... really, take a GOOD LOOK and don't forget that there is a great thing called bevel wich enables you to make something in low-res first you can get he eventual shape just about right. Low poly models are easyer to modify and It's exactly how I worked on my Mauler. Also I recommend you make a file with screenshots of all sides of the tank. Really did miracle for me.
I know you want to make a slightly different version but the shape doesn't seem right yet. It's a great start tough and you don't wanna know how many times I restart models.... . If you need help, just call me on skype or something.
