Have you guys ever heard of Hunter Prey? Well I certainly didn't until I stumbled upon this. It's a short, apparently simple, sci-fi movie made by independent film director and design artist Sandy Collora. Collora has said that Hunter Prey has a "very 70's, old school sci-fi, organic, feel" to it, it seems he is drawing inspiration from Star Wars (what with all the endless desert, armored troopers and masked sand people).

It looks promising.

Hmmm...the soldiers felt more like they were from Dune than Star Wars, but the alien looked like a rejected orc from LoTR. It has promise, I'll give it that.

Doesn't look half bad. I LOVE the suits that the guys have, very cool.

For a B movie it looks okay.

I read about him in wikipedia but I hadn't actually seen the Batman video. It's pretty good! Actually, it's the best fan film I have ever seen! Poor Batman has no chance.

I'm pretty sure this guy will come up with something simple, yet cool. Hunter Prey should be nice.

Yeah, I thought of Dune, even though the movie came out in 1984 but then again, there is the novel, which came earlier than Star Wars... I'm not sure, I guess he took inspiration from both stories. More sci-fi from the 70's should be in the list as well.
