Garrys mod update quarantined help! [solved]

Hey guys, I recently downloaded a fix for Gmod 10 and after I installed the fix, microsoft security essentials though gmod10.exe was a virus so it quarantined it. Now I can't run the game! Is there a way to 'de' quarantine the file?

Not really. Just turn off MS SeEssentials, and verify the GMod cache. This will redownload the gmod10.exe. Then add the gmod10.exe to the exceptions/ignore list.

I think I got it now. I uninstalled garrys mod, then made an execption for the steam folder through mse settings. Then reinstalled garrys mod with the fix : )
