Command Flyers/Transport Question

Post by SandTrooper »

Does anyone know if there is way to stop the AI from spawning from a command flyer while it is in flight. Also can anyone recommend a good program to use to find/view hardpoints in a model, that will work with .msh, other than XSI or the SWBFviewer. Thanks.

Which command flyer is it? Also, please post your vehicle's ODF.

Try Blender.

hes asking for a program to open and view msh files with it to fnd harpoits. the only program that can do that is "ultimate unwrap 3d". there is a free demoversion of it with which you can view msh files.

Couldn't he just convert the MSH into an OBJ using Meshtool4 and import into Blender/XSI/etc?

Meshtool doesn't save hardpoints. it merges everything together.

It's impossible to prevent that in-flight spawning. Only way would be to completly remove the spawning feature from the vehicle.

- About the flyers, i noticed removing commandflyer from a transport stops it, simply because its not a mobile cp anymore so the ai doesn't spawn there. I just wasn't sure if someone had found a odf command or another way to stop it. If i did have scripting issue i would post my odf, but its really just a generic question about any commandflyer. Thx.

- About the models, i have been using debug on SWBFviewer to find hardpoints and there connections, it does work to find the names, but it doesnt help to show where they are on the model. i just wanted to know if anyone had a better way to do it, i figured it might be impossible, but it was worth a shot, thanks for your time and the advise.
