Re: What is your favorite maps/mods
Are you asking because you are curious or do you want a shortcut to the "best" mods and maps out there? Because, if it's the latter, it won't work very well, it would be better if you searched for maps that suited your interests. Also, be sure to download our map archive for a comprehensive listing of maps and their respective download links.
Anyway, I like pretty much all of the bigger mods that we have here on GT, you know, Dark Times, Ultimate Battlefront: Clone Wars, Dev's sides... as for maps, well, here is my list:
There are some other maps (mostly contest maps) that I keep in a separate folder, their names aren't in the list, but be sure to check them out, they are great.

Re: What is your favorite maps/mods
Oh gosh, there's too many good maps and a lot of good mods that have come out. Some of my favorite mods are Dark Times (and Dark Times II), Dark Space, Ultimate Battlefront: The Clone Wars, Battlefront Zero, and Convo Pack.

Some of my personal favorites:
The Conversion Pack - I doubt there's anyone in their right mind who doesn't like it.
Rends' Mos Eisley and 2 Coruscant maps - great maps made with custom models.
Mav's Rebel Ops Missions - I love campaign mission maps like these.
archer01's Operation Ferret Master - see above.
Koolaid7g's Naboo: Thead Hanger - another awesome custom model map.
MajinRevan's RotE #3 - I really like the environment on this map.
Mav's Dark Times - awesome mod.
Aman/Pinguin's Tatooine: Tuskencamp - not the most original in terms of setting, but still a nice map.
Then of course, my own work, especially UB:TCW, Saga of the 607th, Torvik, and some other stuff I'm working on or never finished.
There's plenty of other maps out there that I enjoyed, but I can't name any more off the top of my head.

Re: What is your favorite maps/mods
The Conversion Pack, definitely - it's basically a standard for Battlefront players to have. I've always enjoyed Maveritchell's and Skyhammer's work; Mav's work is always high-quality from top to bottom and is inspired by great source material, and I think Skyhammer has a real talent for coming up with interesting and original settings for maps.
I enjoy my own work, of course. I think my favorite map out of everything I've made is Taris: Outcast Village from the SWBF Files contest last summer. I had a lot of fun designing a small map for the stock sides - it was refreshing in a way as a break from the Aldura series (same story for my Raxus Prime contest map). I still play the Aldura maps from time to time, but within the last few months before I lost all the assets for the project my preference in style for modding had changed and I just didn't enjoy the gameplay in those maps as much. Outside of the campaign modes, the gameplay is really pretty terrible. Those maps were designed around the campaign, and the conquest gameplay suffered as a result.

As for me, the Unofficial v1.3 Patch. Then, from there,

To be honest, though, most of those maps aren't really very good.
