I'm not entirely sure whether this works with the ModTool, but I read about this over on Crymod Forums.
I thought it was an interesting plug-in that this community might be interested in due to the lack in variety of stock tree models.

Re: T-Gen Tree and Plant Generator XSI Plug-in
Looks sweet! I'd imagine it'd work with mod tool, too, seeing that it has a free version, and if you won't pay for this, why pay for a modeling program *will test soon*
EDIT: Nvm, looks like it won't work with Mod Tool, unless Mod Tool is XSI 6.02
EDIT 2: Nvm, it does work with Mod Tool, but it doesn't show up like the Pandemic one does when you click file. You have to choose the plug-in explorer, click user list (or summin like that) and then T-gen should be there, so click on T-Gen>Toolbars. It's a little confusing to me so far, though... Maybe I should read its docs and tuts...

Well, you CAN use one of the tools meant to lower poly counts drastically.obiboba3po wrote:wow this is really neat. idk how to make my own, im still learning but the preset ones are all over 100k tris so no hope of being in bf2
