Okay just pm me when their done, by the way this looks like it's going to be a great mod. Also, if you can do it this is called a republic vehicle dropship and looks awsome! I got the pic from lucasarts.com then go to republic commando and then vehicles and search around, it will give you all the stats:

I convert them from the X-Wing Alliance upgrade project, and the others were files that Fred gave me to finish.

I can't blame you for not having transparent windows then... I think it would be much more work than it is worth. :) However, flat black is still sorta weird, so you could retexture them like the Republic Gunship's cockpit. :D

Yeah, maybe i could bump map them, too. You know, get that shiny glass effect. I'll see what I can whip up.

Oh, and a bunch of units have been released here at gametoast. Go to downloads/Battlefront/Addon Player Units to add them to new maps.

Teancum. Forget about tellin me EVERY texture goes. Iv managed to guess the wings , hull and a few bits . I just need you to tell me the small bits or get me a few good close up pictures of the ship ,how its supposed to look.

Very Nice. I put the K-wing in my own map and it's so fun. I love that ship. I'm going to inquire to Majin about how he got his redo maps working without (I hope he did, that is) replacing cps, regions, and vehicle spawns. Then I;m gonna add the kwing and A-wing and why not the interceptor. For private use of course.

You're welcome to the A-Wing as soon as Bandu and I get the collision bug worked out.

Okay, I have to admit something guys. My motivation is quickly slowing down for editing. I'm crossing my fingers that the BF2 tools are out before I buy the game. I don't think it's anything to worry about, but it's safe to say at least 1 vehicle won't get completed. I'll try to finish as many as I can. I'm working with Fred on the two walkers. They're a priority because they're so unique. I sent screens to Bandu so hopefully he'll get everything done for the R41 collision. I dropped the interior, but I think I'll pick it up again.

As far as release-able assets:
-A number of player units have been released in the downloads section
-The K-Wing has one tiny little bug in the top turret. I'll try and fix it. Other than that it's done
-I'll do some external views for the Hovernaut for the next beta.
-The MTT (appearing in next beta) is pretty much ready to go.
-The XP-34 is done.
-The Gian Speeder is done.
-The Imperial Troop Transport is basically done. I need to see if I can fix the flicker of the engine.

there is also a bug where when you get out of the hovernaut, you get squashed... plz fix or make the hovernaut hover higher above the ground.

When will the starfighters be released, I love those! Good luck on finishing them, but don't rush. :) I have expiernced the hovernaught glitch sveral times as well. I like the A-Wing internal view, well done.

BIG Updates: (I should be in bed)

Bandu has sent me the R-41 exported from XSI, and the collisions work!!! The model had a few bugs, but they were my fault. I re-exported as OBJ from Milkshape with all the UV and textures working, so now I can send it back to him for final exporting, along with the A-Wing and Moldy Crow. What does that mean? It means that if all goes well, once the A-Wing is back in-game with collsions, it will be ready for final testing (in the next release). This also means the Moldy Crow will be ready for final testing, along with the R-41, which I'm finishing up the cockpit on.

The Hovernaut now has external cameras, by request.

In other news, I've finished importing the first model of the TIE Advanced X1 (Darth Vader's TIE). Progress is going well. Here's the first in-game shot:

Teancum, I'm curious, what are you using as statistic guidelines? I'm pretty sure the R-41 is somewhat. . .crappier than that. Not sure, maybe my memory is faulty, but you should ask on the XWAUP forums for pictures of the stats of two or more ships (difference bettween a y- and b- wing?) for comparison.

How do you mean? Slower, less powerful?

I'll do my best to get it like it should be, but it still has to be balanced in-game.
