Well duh, like I said, this is going in a mappack.
But they won't be released until the mappack's done. (or at least 95% finished)

Me, I photosource them from the Internet (take a picture of the gun from wikipedia or google images and use that).

No, sorry, no asset releases until the project is at least 95% done.
There will be beta map/side releases though.

He won't, i think... Still, this rules! I've always wanted to do something like this with a map of my neighbourhood, but it needs good models! All these models you make; they are really good enough for a new war game! They totally rule, and especially the textures! (my 3d artist rule; the texture makes most of the model)

Eh I wouldn't say that yet

, as the M16 first person still looks horrendous.
But I messed around with the textures so that they're darker, and made the AK47's barrel not lit-up anymore (not shown in picture).

Ya the first person is a bit wierd but I think that may have more to do with the soldiers arms rather than your model.
You could make it look better but you would have to distort the weapon a bit in order to fit the hands. It probably would look better if a Wookiee carried it as his hands tend to be farther apart.
