Can you attach an effect to a hardpoint on a unit?

Hello gt, i want to make a soldier have a red glow on him like a grenade, is there a way i could have a hardpoint such as bone_head have an effect attached to it? If so, please explain :D .

i think, nobody has tried yet...if it works i would easily use the lines from an object and try it with them

Thanks dude! It works, but no matter what bone I tell the effect to attach to the effect is always on the feet. Here's what I put in my ODF.
DamageStartPercent = 100.0
DamageStopPercent = 0.0
DamageEffect = "com_sfx_weap_grenade_red1"
DamageAttachPoint = "bone_ribcage"

I also tried bone_head but no matter what bone i tell it to attach to it goes around my units feet. How can I fix this?

I think you need to put in the co-ordinates but I am not sure..

maybe the bones in battlefront 1 are called differently than in battlefront 2..
it just a wild guess
