Double QFT. I'm assuming you watched the 30-min special on NBC yesterday.

This is the kind of thing that has turned me off on sports, btw.
After a college football game, half my highschool would be happy, the other half would be saying things like this nonstop for days.
You don't think it happens? Once you get to the top, you can't go anywhere except stay there or go down. So, teams/players have their off games.
I will admit that Canada's team isn't as good as it has been in past years, though. At least, that's my opinion.

Yeah, players have off days, but some people write off All losses as "off days" and still tell you there team is better, even if they havent proved it. Even if they havent proved it for a few years.

Edit: arg dohnut, with that avatar, i keep thinking you are bigcookie somehow

If players on my high school football team have an "off day" that means we probably won.....don't ask me why.

Both the U.S. and Canada advance to the semis. I'm kind of surprised that Russia didn't put up that much of a fight against Canada.

Yeah, they didn't do well at all, and I'm kinda glad. If Russia gets worse than 4th, the people in charge of sports (particularly Olympic management) are getting fires and the system replaced. Good riddence.

Sven Kramer on the 10km... My hart stopped for a while, that was extremely painful. Ouch.

Yeah it was indeed Empie, and I can't imagine people blaming Gerard.. Ofcourse it was his decission, but the Vancouver staff didn't allow a 'help' outside the bording, to note down his annotations on the white board.. He needed to do it himself and lost sight on Sven and Skobref(?)..

I kinda think this is a terrible Olympics: bad pistes, terrible ice-quality and a far-too-pushy-organisation..

Let's hope Sven and his team will win gold today (skating right now :D )

I don't think any Canadians even care that we lost overall. I mean, we did so, extremely well compared to other years.
And that was a good hockey game.

Not true, depends on how you look at it. If the winner is measured by gold medals then you won. If it's total medals then ya, we (USA) won.

Not to mention Nicoline Sauerbreij.. Sorry to bring another dutchy, but she was the first dutchy ever to win a 'snow'-medal, and we're extremely proud it's also the 100th gold medal won on an olympic game by the netherlands

Michael J. Fox is an actor, best known for his roles in the Back to the Future trilogy, as Marty McFly. He's not an athlete.
