Recurring Blue Screen of Death
I recently purchased an HP webcam, an HD 3110. I hooked up the webcam, and it installed fine, then I tried installing the extra software that came with it on a disk. The software installed fine, but my computer Blue Screened when I tried to run it. I restarted my computer and Blue Screened again when I tried to run the software. I then restarted the computer and removed the software via control panel, and it Blue Screened again when uninstalling. However, next time I tried to uninstall it it didn't blue screen and the program was removed successfully (according to windows, anyway. However, now Windows has started Blues screening often, sometimes on start up and sometimes when shutting down. Any ideas how to fix this problem would be appreciated, as It is getting very problematic.

Yes, do a system restore from before you first installed the software.

Re: Recurring Blue Screen of Death
I attempted a system restore a while ago, and I had no issues, but today (about a weak and a half later) I got blue screen on startup twice. Is there any way to repair the installation and fix whatever files have been damaged by the other software?

Yeah, if you have the OS disc that came with the computer, you can stick it in the drive, boot to the CD, and "Repair Windows"

Also you can run > msconfig > startup and disable anything you don't want windows to load
