I don't mean to bring somthing that is old but I am very glad that you gave the commanders something extra because what would be the difference from them and a assault trooper?

"look" is not that much, i think you should add at least simple binoculars (clone commander used them in epII)

you should also give commander gree and appo a carbine (for example with more damage) or both rifle and a carbine

and more health and the ability to heal themselves as it was in v1

because now the commander unit is really not worth so much unlock points

i got BFX V1 now cuz its less bugged so i dont remember a few things but i got suggestions anyway. if it was already made. then ignore it.

Sniper: the multi-shot with an extreme recoil from battledroids is seriously annoying and i never liked it. Sniper from base game was my favorite class but now with that recoil (it should be a sniper rifle. not a carabine) and the multi-shots that does almost no dmg. its kinda hard to play it. so i would like you to bring back the old sniper and add x2 and x4 zoom for all snipers on all factions. change the skin too. the tiger one is terrible. the red was far better. like BF1

Droideka: in the movies. they were an extreme killing machine and they could resist an attack of 20 ppl without suffer any dmg. in Battlefront a guy with a bazooka is enough to take it down and/or a simple clone with a carabine. so i suggest to double the shield power or 1,5x the power of the shield and make the rotation of the deka faster.

General Grievous: well i dunno if its possible due the 4 hand thingy but maybe add a blaster to him and make him able to use vehicles. grievous have no force powers so its kinda useless in most maps that has no small places. he pwnz in maps like Tantive IV for example cuz its small but in other maps like Utapau it just sucks..




Maps Changes Suggestions:

Utapau: well like i said beafore. swap the sides. i think that u did it already but im too lazy to search :P another thing is to add an AT-TE and a few tanks to the republic maybe if you can and/or a gunship or 2. and a volture droid in the CIS hangar. and a few AAT's and maybe some turrets. if you can modify the bot paths. well try to make them use the hallways that no one uses like the one in the middle of the map or go upstairs the hangar and things like that.

Hoth: kinda simple. more Snowspeeders, 8 AT-ST's and 5 AT-AT's. a few more turrets and some E-Webs in trenches.

Kamino: Fighters and Gunships!

Felucia: AT-UT and a few more Walkers and 2 Spider Droids to the CIS

Mygeeto: Gunships to the Republic

Polis Massa: well. polis is a weird map. its too small and well there are a few places for using vehicles but it would be nice if you could add a fighter or something to fight outside. i played that map only on campaign and once in skirmish in basegame. i dunno how is it now but i guess a fighter or something would atract some ppl to it

Geonosis: the idea of BF1 Geo was far better than the one from BF2.. i dunno add some Techno Union Ships, more AT-TE's and some AT-XT

Death Star: i dunno it sounds weird but an AT-ST on each Hangar would be cool. just for patrol that location or something. it adds more emotion to the map it cant go thru corridors so its balanced and useful to protect command posts

Dagobah: Add a Walker with somekind of forest skin like the one from the force unleashed:

Coruscant: maybe just add jedi instead of battledroids?

Kashyyyk: Wookie Catamaran and some Republic Walkers (no AT-RT) and Juggernaut and Droid Gunship

Mos Eisley: Add a Walker and some speeders and a rebel speeder or tank or something

Mustafar: Command Post in the end of each of those big T's thingies that had shield in ep3 and obi-wan and anakin fell on lava on it. i dunno what is it actually if its an antena or what but add command post in the end of some of those would make them useful and fun in the game

Theed: a Walker in GCW

Yavin IV: add the 2 Walkers from BF1...

and if let me know if you are going to modify some maps from conversion pack cuz i have some ideas for those too if you are going to add custom sides on those maps



Space Battles: there are some realistic Venator and Invisible hand models with a realistic bridge and all. maybe you could use those to make some good battles. also there's an Acclamator with hangar and i dunno if there are Rebel or Imperial Star Destroyers but one with more hangars anda realistic bridge would pwn! and better engines for the love of god! wtf is that? the Imperial Star Destroyer model is terrible, 1 hangar when its supoused to have a lot, the invisible hand got 2 engines instead of 3 and the thing that you destroy is not the bridge actually. the bridge is near to the nouse of the ship and its all black. and same with star destroyer. you destroy somekind of antena actually. the bridge is in the middle of the thing down there. well you know. realistic models in space battles if you can and more ships. its a suggestion of course. dunno if u can do it or not. i just give ideas for the future of my favorite mod :P


Class Ideas:

Toxic Droid and Flamethrower Droid: if you ever played Jedi Power Battles on Playstation 1 you would know of what im talking about xD

and well. could you try atleast to increase the scale of some walkers?

the scale is too small of what it should be.. for example.

Royal Guard Tie Interceptor: its a tie interceptor with shields and missiles and its red :P

i dunno how to use modtools on battlefront so i never tryed. i do codding and modding on Empire at War and Jedi Academy but i guess its diferent here..

I won't change the CIS sniper rifle, as that's how it's portrayed in the Clone Wars cartoon. I have lessened the recoil, though.

I can't add vehicles to maps except in special situations where their spawnpoints are already there, eg. Geonosis. Mos Eisley does have an AT-ST spawnpoint - however when I added it, the Empire won in ten minutes. I can't change the capital ships either, they're part of the map.

I've already got a TIE defender, no need for a Royal Guard TIE. I won't scale up any vehicles, because the maps can't fit them.

The droideka only needs twelve points to unlock, I'm not going to make it a near-invincible killing machine. Their lasers already do about 200 damage.

I have changed the CIS sniper skin, it uses the normal battledroid skin on some maps, the Geonosis skin on Geonosis, and the red skin on the rest. As well as the rifleman and rocketeer droids.

Grievous doesn't have the animations for a pistol, but he can use vehicles now.

I swapped the Utapau sides, which made me realize that the CIS greatly overpowers the Republic, so now I'm back to re-writing all the LUAs and nerfing the CIS so it's balanced.

I won't put Jedi on Coruscant instead of the CIS, because that's not the point of BFX mode.

I returned the binoculars to the commanders. I won't be giving clone commanders a carbine, nor will I be giving them auto-heal. Auto-heal was just strange, in my opinion. I could give the commanders a supply dispenser, though - at the cost of melee attack, though. I've given them proton grenades, too - much more powerful than thermal detonators.

Alright, I've started fixing the AI counts. They won't be Uber- or XL-sized, but they won't be Conquest-sized either. The game only puts out about 20 AI units at a time by default, instead of maxing out the allocated 32. I'm going to fill out the total 32 on most maps, and increase it on Hoth, Endor, Kashyyyk, etc. - you know, the big maps.

Vehicle missiles now consume ammo, which can be refilled with a fusioncutter. The stinger missiles have been redone, now fighters will fire two of them, that do a good deal more damage. A few fighters, such as the V-19, have been made fire a volley of weaker missiles, though. They're still better than before - I thought it was odd that a starfighter could take a hit from a full clip of missiles, and it would be even more inefficient if those missiles cost their shooter ammo.

were you talking about the reinforcement count? It won't go over 300 if you have not fixed this you might want to.

hes talking about ai counts.. im a little dissapointed about the no uber count but at least there will be a lot on bigger maps cuz hoth with 32 is not enough.. needs more like 64v64 :P

EDIT:so this means it will be called something other than uber like bfx or something?

The name won't be changed. I had considered changing it to BFX, but then, downloaded maps that have Uber mode would list it as BFX mode, which it wouldn't be, which could be misleading.

I'm aware of the reinforcement problem, it's not high on my list of priorities though.

BIG NEWS: I have a computer on my network that is XP as some of you know I have vista well, When I downloaded battlefront extreme 2 beta it would not show up then I downloaded zerteds shell that is in the newest convo pack and guess what. the sound on that computer for the game is disabled cause there is still somthing I need to fix but the bfx worked fine all the units were there all the ships the guns the actions so bfx will work on xp machines you may need to disable sound to work maybe not i am just not sure. hope this helps some of you with xp that bfx IS FULLY WORKING (except for some bugs that arc has fixed like the arc_fighter ect.)as for missing units I think that the file is missing or corrupted

Yeah, I got a FATAL with loading Geonosis Uber too. (502)GEN.york, I have Windows XP also and BFX v2 works for me, with the sound enabled. I don't know what the heck is wrong with your computer.

well it's not my computer (it's on my network) and its not the bfx its swbf2 the game it can't handle the sound ( so I think) or it crashes to desktop with no error letter I think I need to update the sound card or get a better driver
