Mysterious model

Post by elfie »

Ok this is really wierd. I made a model in XSI, exported it with Rep's meshex, placed it in Zeroeditor, it showed up perfectly normal. I also placed another object in Zeroeditor that I had made and placed before in the same world that showed up ingame before, and when I munged and played, the object that I had placed for a second time showed up but the new one did not. Strange. In Zeroeditor everything is Normal, but ingame it is different. Any ideas?

I think you are confusing the matter by involving a second model which worked before and still works, making the point of having it mentioned at all small or non-existent.

I just meant to say that the other models I made are showing up fine in the map, just not this one.

I would think if it was an odf problem it wouldn't show up in Zeroeditor, but here is the odf:

Code: Select all

[GameObjectClass]
ClassLabel	= "prop"
GeometryName	= "building3.msh"

[Properties]
GeometryName	= "building3"
FoleyFXGroup    = "wood_foley"

Its probably your layers. Check your layers in ZE and see if its in [Base].

Hm. I always get this problem, as in the percentage of items and foliage and side changes that show up in my maps is 100%

I even did a clean and still it doesn't show up. It is placed under the [Base] layer too, I checked.

Actually, yes I did before. This is very odd. I didn't even get an error and something tells me that it might not be the model.
