I'm trying to port the Felucia map from SWBF2 by following BattleBelk's "tutorial". I've managed to get the terrain to work in the ZeroEditor, but the problem is that the repainted terrain refuses to load with the .WLD file - instead, the original terrain, which doesn't have textures for the most part, is loaded. I can tell it's not being loaded ingame because the water, which I had added in the updated .TER file was not present. The .TER file opens fine, in its "fixed" state, i.e. with water and textures, and the .WLD file points to the correct .TER file. Any idea what's wrong?
Also, are the "Fungal roots" supposed to be brown or is that due to the render mode (i.e. flag) being incompatible? (I got a few of those errors while munging)

Re: Loading of .TER files
What means refuse? Game crash? Maybe you didnt add water properly. Couse you have to add water in ZE and effect in world .fx file and also add water textures in <MapId>.req file.
Flag is incompatible.

Re: Loading of .TER files
The ZE always loads the "unfixed" version of the terrain which has the texture displacement (I have no idea where it loads that from). I added the water correctly to the terrain, but once again only the unfixed version is loaded in ZE and ingame. I know that the terrain itself is saved normally, however, because when I load the terrain separately, it shows the changes I have made.

Can you be a little clearer on which version is "fixed" and which is "unfixed"? I don't understand why you have two TER files.

Re: Loading of .TER files
I have only 1 .TER file, but the ZE loads an earlier "revision" of it, the one with the texture displacement, et cetera. I don't know where this earlier version of the file is being loaded from, since I have verified that the file was saved correctly as the fixed "revision" is opened if I select the .TER file itself rather than the .WLD file from the open dialog.
Something that might be related: I manually deleted all the "irrelevant" layers (i.e. files related to layers for CTF, DTM, etc, and deleted their entries in the .LDX file) since the ZE refused to load them (which is why I deleted them manually in the first place).

Re: Loading of .TER files
Off-topic: I never knew you could open only a .TER file in ZE. I guess I never needed to.
