Scaling issues

Post by giftheck »

I'm trying to scale the Lambda Shuttle ported by Sereja, but when I export it to MSH, it reverts back to its original size (gargantuan, almost as big as a single platform from Bespin: Platforms). It's the 'correct' size in my scene when I reload it, so is there something more I need to do to scale it properly?

Have you scaled the null (e.g. DummyRoot) or have you scaled the mesh (e.g. (maybe) LambdaShuttleMesh>bone_root>....). I had a similair problem and it worked when I just scaled the mesh instead of the null.

I think I scaled everything under "DummyRoot".

Would just reducing the mesh interfere at all with the shuttle's animations?

Maybe it's like scaling up/ or down characters. You probably would need to scale the skeletion and the geometry in your vehicle's odf. Maybe this will help: http://www.gametoast.com/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=11546
