Mist/Fog Help

How can you change the colour of the mist? Is the colour linked through, tga or particle?

I would like the mist to be green, to create a gassy effect.

its not tga related, all the color effects are in number fromat exmaple
red 255 green 255 blue 255 , thats white
so open up your fx file with note pad, it would look like this, important parts are here

Code: Select all

		Size(0, 2.0000, 2.5000);
		Red(0, 255.0000, 255.0000);
		Green(0, 255.0000, 255.0000);
		Blue(0, 255.0000, 255.0000);
		Alpha(0, 0.0000, 0.0000);

Yes, there should be a line in your fx file that says 'ParticleDensity(0);' or something similar.

For the final, how do I get the mist ingame?

EDIT: There is many Green Blue Red Alpha codes in the dagmist.fx file. Which one do I edit?

all of them, or parts will stay white,
and for getting it ingame, look at the dag_mist odf to see how its bsetup, just copy rename and reference your fx in the odf, make sure you have the grass editor msh thing, its a white disc used for foliage and some effects. again look at the dag_mist odf to see what im talking about
