Just a suggestion:
While there are a couple of maps still in developping make deasdline in about a week or so and those maps wich are final will make it in. And for the others make a legacy map pack and release it in 1 or 2 months.

That's a great idea Rends!
Of course that means MP6 won't be the final final map pack for BF1, but since I won't be able to get BF2 for a while anyway, I'm hoping a bunch of you guys will still keep playing and modding BF1 as well after BF2 comes out!
that what I was wondering, how many will play swbf1 when 2 is out. i think we can just stall the mappack until the poll has hundreds of opinions. hehe. maybe a month after swbf2 is out well put out 6. I just dont want to confuse things as swbf2 will also be starting its mappacks within a month of release swbf2 mappack1

I hope that's true, Guru. I'm sure you're in the loop on Mod Tools, but I haven't seen much about them except things some of the genious' around here are putting together.
I can't believe no votes have been cast for Ord Mantel. That really is a beautiful map with really good gameplay. (except that it's really hard to trip the ATAT's with the snowspeeder's tow cables on those steep hills or between the buildings)
im going to keep modding star wars battlefront, and i cant believe that this is the last map pack... especially sense i was just going to start mass- creation of courascant: jedi temple, and Hordon III: Crash landing...
well if there is interest im sure we can still put packs out. Its nothing written in stone. I just figured everyone would be more interested in the new code swbf2 style modding. BUt i guess we shall see
Well Haruun Kal is v0.9 -- the only thing that's keeping it from 1.0 is the A-Wing, but I think I have enough new vehicles in it (4, though some have been seen before). I dunno, it's my first map, but I think I've done all I can do. I'll fix up a few bugs, let people play beta 0.9 for a week or so to report bugs/uneven sides, etc -- then I'll submit 1.0. I'm ready to move on to a new map.
That being said, I really could use the community's help with bug reports and seeing if sides play out even. I only had 1 comment on beta 9 and I couldn't understand it.
