Hey. ARC_Commander? I am making a brand new Assault Cannon. The other one was just plain not wanting to work out with me. This one is going to be so much better and more sleek like in the picture I am referencing.

wow u should use this kin in the mod for the bly, i dont think the author has released it yet though.

just wanted to say 1 thing about the imps, they seem to drop like flies

the troopers blaster gets so inaccurate, it just annoys me, make it more accurate

(i still like the gcw, even though this mod is like more for clones)

The Imperial trooper's blaster is inaccurate to reflect the movies. Plus, it has a very high ROF - higher than the other factions' rifles - to compensate. It's lethal at close range, and the stun shot allows for a sort of one-two punch - incapacitate the enemy with the stun, then run up and fill 'em with blaster bolts.

So what are you aiming for in this mod, canon or movies?

I'm aiming to do a balance between movie-like and playable. An inaccurate Imperial rifle is just as playable as the original one, as its increased rate of fire and the Stun mode compensates for inaccuracy. And the Stormtrooper has its pistol for accuracy.

EDIT: The newest addition to the mod - the Imperial Agent:



Replaces the Shadow Stormtrooper on a few maps. Armed with a heavy pistol, the Imperial commando pistol (so basically an Uzi), stealth, and 3 timebombs. I saw a James Bond movie recently, and got the idea.

try attacking a droid with a fusion cutter. It ll DIE

i dont think that it will work, because you must get close to them, but the droids are faster than clones and they are also (OH MY GOD ) shooting at you. It would perhaps work in close quarters though.
