I am a new one here by gametoast, and as a newie you have some questions about making mods for swbfII:
-How can i change textures from odfs e.g. hoth tunnels with yavin texture
-How can i make a new soldier (i read the .doc - file before) but there isn't a soldier, i import the msh, tga, odf, opiton -file and called it
ReadDataFile("dc:SIDE\\aaa.lvl"....
Hope you can help me

Re: Questions
Number One: people can all see your login in date and know your new(I realized that the hard way)
Number 2: your are asking pretty general questions.
I don't understand your first question, and it takes a while to fully understand the jedicreation.doc.
All I can say is keep trying and if there is a particular thing you want to figure out I may be able to help.

Re: Questions
Uh...so what? Not everybody immediately looks for the date a person joined and how many posts they have. There's nothing wrong with starting a post with, "hey, I'm new here and have a question."StarkillerMarek wrote:Number One: people can all see your login in date and know your new(I realized that the hard way)
At any rate, those are pretty general questions that have been answered plenty of times before. Answers to both can be found in the "FAQ/Everything You Need" thread at the top of the modding forum. Just read through those topics a few times, and if there's a specific part you don't understand then plenty of people will be happy to help clear things up.

Re: Questions
1, you have to find its .tga file(s) which are listed in the msh file of the object (has the same name as the odf file) and edit or copy over a yav file and overwrite it

Re: Questions
That should be really easy, you don't even need to edit the .odf files at all. Go to you msh folder and find whatever Yavin texture you want to use, then rename it to be exactly the same as the Hoth texture you want to replace.-how can i change the "texture" from the odf (hoth) to
the texture from yavin

Re: Questions
As for your eli questions, if you want the layer to be used for flag mode, all you have to do is configure your game modes. In ZE, up on the top bar, somewhat to the right of center, is a button called "Configure". Click it, and use the popup window to set the eli layer to be used by single-flag CTF.
