I'm sorry, but I must point out a blatant fact...the blaster pistol for the Galactic Republic in SWBF II is correct (the DC-15S Blaster). The main long rifle is known as the DC-15A. The DC-17m ICWS is the one in SWRC. The DC-17 Repeater Hand Blaster is the one that Republic ARC Trooper Captain Fordo uses (in pairs). The DC-15s Side Arm Blaster is the SWRC pistol.
DO NOT use the "en.wikipedia" website as your source for SW stuff. I have found that it is HIGHLY inaccurate. Currently, the most accurate website is:
http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Main_Page
Please take this information into account, because I am very sure that I am correct. The info about the "DC" series weapons was found here:
http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/DC-15_rifle
Thank you for reading. I would consider your model that you are making and showing in this thread to be a better modelled version of the DC-15S Blaster (the Republic's blaster pistol). Yours is by far more accurate and detailed.

That's my point. It IS the same weapon, but not modelled as well as OOM-9's.
LOL.

Majin, this is what we have ALL been assuming. I was thinking "Idiots at PANDEMIC made the carbine into a pistol, GAH. Then my little brother got into an arguement when I made the pistol a carbine. He stated that is was too short to bethe carbine, and that the tibana cartridge was on the wrong side and that there isn't supposed to be the large aimer ontop of a carbine. He also noted the lack of 'wires' on the endof the barrel.
I staunchly defended my theory which used to be the same as yours Majin. However when examining a small plastic replica that came with my bro's action figure I was struck suddenly with realization. I went and watched EP3 several times looking pausing and even going frame by frame as clones wielded thier carbines.
I then was watching the clone cartoon which I have on DvD and noted that all the weapons in the cartoon are 'stylized' to match the cartoon look. The clone DC-15 Rifle is even blended into the ARC assault rifle, this fact made me cross examine my old theory. Perhaps, the modeller at PANDEMIC had simply modelled the DC-17 Hand Repeating Blasters of the ARC Troopers as the republic's pistol. Remember, RC came out after SWBF I believe... so the RC pistol was sort of canonized as the main clone pistol after that. So the fellow at Pandemic had to think up thier own blaster pistol to fill the game niche'.
What finally convinced me that the SWBF republic pistol was indeed the DC-17 Hand Repeater was this image...
Notice the ARC in the lower right... that weapon which is the DC-17 Hand Repeater has the cartridge on the left side of the gun, and has no 'wires' on the barrel.
Now granted that IS a comic book, the comics were churned out faster than books and video games and a LOT of the clone wars were canonized through simple comic books.
SO, I came to the conclusion that since the pistol in SWBF clearly ISN'T the carbine, and the people at PANDEMIC are proffessionals who had to research to fill in the slots for the weapons found images of the DC-17 Hand Blaster wielded by the ARCs and said "hey that is the republic pistol lets model that".
My carbine is modelled after the image at wookiepedia also now known as the starwars wiki AND countless stills of the carbine in the movie. I used the current pistol (DC-17 Hand Blaster) as a way of preportioning it, but it is modelled after the carbine, which the people at PANDEMIC 'never' modelled. Also remember, SWBF1 was made before ROTS aka EP3 so they didn't have a carbine to model yet.
Frankly Majin, it's better if you take your stubborn theory out of my W.I.P thread. I did my research, I modelled it after what it is, and you need to re-evaluate your theory before swooping in to discredit my extremely researched and well educated deduction.

I dont want this thread to go offtopic ,this will be my last 'say' on the matter but Im sure Iv had this 'arguement' before with you (Majin) and 00M-9 (back when he was still in the claws of the darkside ,ie. thought like you do)
PS. I did no research apart from watch ep3 .... moreover the Organa part.

OOM-9, you are correct. That above picture convinces me (I had done tons of research on this too).
But, just a quick thing. You said that people saw the SWRC pistol as default pistol...(they didn't). That pistol is strictly SWRC (looks like the Halo pistol).
I hadn't believed that this pistol was the one that Republic ARC Troopers used, as I had seen pictures of them in the Star Wars: Clone Wars cartoon series, and they looked nothing like the SWBF/SWBF II ones.
But, anyways, yes, you are correct.
Just a quick thing--the so-called DC-15B Blaster or whatever doesn't exist officially. The actual correct name is DC-15S Blaster (Leviathan had called it the DC-15B earlier in this thread).
My apologies for my ignorance.
