This annoying message and shield symbol is appearing next to everything. It appears next to copy, paste and cut to? How to I get rid of it?

I am the administrator of my computer and there are no other accounts, its so annoying!

I activated windows and just recently bought this computer and there is no virus!

When I want to move things that message comes up ^^^

Whenever you move files from one drive, to another, with Windows, you'll always get that message. It's not really a "parental shield", it just requires an administrator to move files on drives. Honestly, if you find a way to remove it, let me know. :P

I only have one 'C' and it happens even if I move a picture from documents into program files

I *THINK* (keyword here being *think*), that you have to go to the User Account Control settings and set it to "Never Notify."

I would keep it. It helps protect you computer from a virus moving files. Since you are the admin, it wont bother you as much than as a standard user. If you are always getting it, then you are trying to move files in Windows or Program Files folder. If not, get rid of vista (not saying that you have it, its just i had vista and it did this).
