Removing a map

Post by Surma »

Say that you have made a map and you have decided that "i dont want this any more. I wana get rid of it from both BF2 and the mod tools folder". I read somewhere that you should use the clean button in the visual munge, but can i then just delete the data_*** in the mod tools folder?

Just delete your "data_***" from your BF2 modtools folder and the "***" folder from you SWBFII addons folder.

Hey, also, how do you delete old maps that you started but they stopped working? I've got like these TRE%#% maps sitting there, and I can't delete them. There aren't corresponding folders in my addOn or my Mod Tools folder...

Perhaps this is your problem?
The FAQ / Everything You Need Thread Version 2.0 wrote:Question - I'm using Vista and I munged my new map but it isn't showing up here:
C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Battlefront II\GameData\Addon
so where is it?
Answer - Your newly munged map might have been copied to this location:
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Battlefront II\GameData\Addon
